Pieter Troch, Ph.D.
Pieter Troch is a social historian, with expertise on modern Southeast European history. His research interests include nationhood and ethnic boundary-making, urban and regional development, education, and Albanian-Slavic relations. Troch holds a PhD from Ghent University (2012) and was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at the Leibniz Institute for East and Southeast European Studies in Regensburg (Germany). Currently, he is postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the University of Regensburg.
